Checklist Before You Hire A Landscape Contractor
1. Verify they're a licensed contractor at www.azroc.gov
2. Ask for references
3. Plan your project carefully and make detailed plans if necessary
4. Get at least 3 estimates
5. Ask what problems may come up during the project
6. Get a written contract
7. Make sure you understand the terms of the contract before signing
8. Be cautious about advancing large sums of money for work not yet completed
9. Put all changes in writing
10. Make frequent inspections
